		The main trunk is leaning and hollow, and the tree is not in good condition. However, the cypress flies are growing, so I hope that some of them will grow into larger trunks. Although there are not many branches, they remain after the flowers bloom, and it seems that the flowers have bloomed this year. I plan to visit again someday to photograph the flowers.

		I visited to photograph the flowers, and although I can see buds, it looks like it will be some time before they bloom. The crepe myrtles in town are already blooming, so I am worried that the tree's vigor will decline. The upper part of the main trunk has been cut down to reduce the burden on the tree. I don't think there is much chance of this trunk recovering, but I hope that shoots will grow and become new trunks.

		I returned to the plant to check if it had bloomed. It hadn't bloomed yet, and the leaves had turned black. There were lots of small white insects on it, suggesting it had been damaged by pests.

		I was worried whether the flowers would bloom this year, but although the density of the flowers was low, they bloomed beautifully. I hope they will continue to produce beautiful flowers and have a strong presence.
		＜How to visit＞ 　See map on the left. 　Take the tram and get off at Betsuin-mae tram stop. Proceed east, turn right at the first intersection, and walk about 100 meters until you arrive in front of the temple.
