		This tree was mistakenly cut down during maintenance work for the Hiroshima Summit. The main mistake was that there was no sign indicating that it was an A-bombed tree, and the person ordering the work did not have this information. In other words, A-bombed trees are not given much attention except in well-known places, so this may be a good example of how their existence is generally perceived. I had hoped that at least some sprouts would sprout, but it ended up dying.
