		Bodaiju grows from the root after the parent tree dies. The camellia tree used to be a symbol of the region, but the aboveground parts were lost in the atomic bombing, and new buds are growing.

		The camellias are in good season and have many flowers. However, many of the leaves were dull and damaged. Currently undergoing treatment. The bodaiju has hardly sprouted, but the roots have grown up and new leaves have begun to appear.

		The bodaiju trees have not yet sprouted. Next time, I'll visit when they are in bloom.
		The camellias are lively with many flowers. 　I visited to photograph the linden flowers.

		It was raining, so it was difficult to photograph the flowers that bloom downward, but I was glad to be able to see their beautiful colors.
		The discoloration of the leaves is worrying, but I believe the tree is receiving appropriate treatment, so let's hope it recovers.

		It will still be a little while before the linden tree comes into bloom, but on this day many buds could already be seen. It is intriguing how the leaves near the buds differ in shape from the ones growing higher up.
		The camellias have finished flowering. Their leaves show signs of damage?some have turned yellow, others have dried up? and the decline in the tree’s vigor is evident.
